Fine art casting in bronze, aluminium and iron

Processes

We cast using both lost wax and sand moulding techniques and can patinate your work in a wide range of finishes. We offer mould making, fabrication and CNC machining for the production of patterns and prototypes. 3D scanning and scaling of your work can all done be on site.

Moulding

Often the first step in the reproduction process using lost wax techniques. We can make latex rubber mould of your work to capture the finest details and can be used again for future editions. Our moulds comprise of a plaster or resin case to support the rubber.

Lost Wax

The lost wax process begins with the production of wax replicas from rubber moulds. We invest our waxes in traditional plaster block moulds, and ceramic shell.

Sand Casting

Using sand as the mould material is a quicker process than the lost wax method and is suitable for both sculptures and 2D patterns. We can cast large objects in sections.

Fabrication

We have the skills, tools and experience to assemble complex structures fabricating castings from the foundry and steel work. Work made in multiple sections is welded to form the complete piece.

Patination

We can patinate your work in a wide variety of colours and finishes.

Enlargements

We can scale your work using 3D scanning tools to produce a digital version of your work. We can use CAD software and machinery to reproduce the scaled work in a variety of materials.

CNC Machining & Pattern Making

We can scale your work using 3d scanning tools to produce a digital version of your work. We can use CAD software and machinery to reproduce the scaled work in a variety of materials.
